In simple terms, water neutrality means that new-build commercial and residential properties do not increase overall water demand in the area of development.
Water neutrality can be readily achieved through applied efficiencies such as reusing water and offsetting any demand with savings elsewhere by fixing leaks and enhancing local ecosystems.
