Now freely available on the Rinnai UK website is an interview with Jonny Williams, head of strategy and partnerships at Naked Energy, a UK solar thermal and PVT company that specialises in designing and manufacturing solar thermal products for hybrid heating and hot water systems.

Rinnai has entered a strategic partnership with Naked Energy to provide low carbon solar power solutions towards domestic and commercial applications to UK customers.

VirtuHOT is the next generation in solar thermal collector technology that can save up to 3.5x more carbon per m2 compared to conventional solar technology.

Solar thermal technology rests on appropriate surfaces including innovative vertical façade mounting and can generate 5% more energy per m2 than traditional evacuated tube collectors. Thermal energy is produced and then dispersed to heat water via robust solar thermal stores provided by Rinnai.

Naked Energy’s VirtuHOT product has been awarded a Green Product Award – an international distinction rewarding the creation of technology that encourages energy sustainability.

Rinnai and Naked Energy’s collaboration aims to supply UK customers with carbon reducing, practical, technical and economic solutions to DHW and residential heating systems.
